The next following weeks will be very interesting. I’ll be flying to London next Friday, to do a presentation at the MMUG Relaunch meeting. That is gonna be an awesome event, with speakers like Peter Hall, Ayo, Martin Wood, Peter Elst, Aral Balkan and yours truly ofcourse. Did i mention it is free if you register on the website? The next day i am flying back to the Netherlands, because i have tickets for Bazar Curieux, a festival in Rotterdam with 2 Many DJ’s, Peaches and Quannum. I’ll be swinging my hips for sure that night!

The Tuesday then, there is another Macromedia event going on here in Amsterdam, don’t have many details yet, but i heard it’s for Macromedia Partners. There will be some presentations about the new MX 2004 Studio, and maybe i do a little talk, some stuff on the new features in Flash MX 2004. On Thursday, two days after that, there is the annual event by FlashFocus and Macromedia in the RAI in Amsterdam called Flashtival. This is a conference for the dutch speaking flashdevelopers, and the line-up is excellent. I’ll be doing a presentation there on the new Data Architecture and a co-worker of mine is presenting about the new Components in MX 2004. For more details and if you want to register, check out the website. I am also finishing up two articles to be released on Ultrashock, one is about Software Engineering and Application development with Flash MX 2004 Profesional and one is about the new Extensibility Layer. You can check them out soon on Ultrashock.

All said and done, there is still loads of work to do. The process of writing articles and preparing these presentations is a discovery of ideas and often means go back and forth revising and editing earlier material. It means doing a lot of research, reading books and articles, mailing with various people, writing down notes, structure them and throw them away and start all over again. I discovered that it’s really important for me to make sure that i know what i want to say. Often you make things more explainable by saying things NOT or keep the information about it limited.

If you happen to attend one or more of the events i mentioned, make sure to stop by and say hi! I am really looking forward to meet you guys.
